April 2025 - We meet Namibia and her son Jaabir at the clinic. This is her story: “Originally, I am from the Koshk E Kohna region. After the American troops withdrew, life became too difficult for me, so I moved to Herat. My family consists of eight members, with Sohail Jan being the fourth child. Our economic situation is extremely dire. My husband lives with his second wife and does not care for us. He abandons us to fend for ourselves.
